As a Front-End Developer at WMC, you will build and improve the front end of a trade validation platform from scratch. You develop a React-based application that turns complex trading workflows into clear, efficient user interfaces. You take ownership of the user experience and ensure the application is scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.
You work closely with the Back-End Developer and data team to align on APIs, workflows, and technical standards. You focus first on delivering a solid solution/application, then continuously improve performance, structure, and usability as adoption grows. You think in solutions, move fast when needed, and keep quality high.
• Building and maintaining the front-end application using React and TypeScript
• Translating complex business logic into practical, user-friendly interfaces
• Integrating front-end features with back-end APIs and handling data flows properly
• Setting clear component structures and front-end standards
• Iterating based on user feedback and improving usability step by step
• Safeguarding performance, stability, and code quality
• Contributing to architectural decisions that support scalability and maintainability
• At least 4 years of experience developing and maintaining front-end applications in a production environment
• You have experience and enjoy building products from scratch, preferably in a scaleup environment
• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong programming skills in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks, with experience integrating with APIs
• Solid experience designing user interfaces, component architecture, and deployment processes
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable collaborating close with data team members
• A key developer's role with ownership over the architecture and user experience of a business-critical platform
